About the event
Grab your gear and join us for an exhilarating day of wild swimming and waterfall chasing in the heart of Brecon Beacons National Park.
We'll be led by local guide Andy on a 15km hiking adventure which promises a treasure trove of natural beauty, featuring six spectacular waterfalls - and a bunch of secret ones just waiting to be counted by you! We'll trek through enchanting forests 🌳 and valleys, climb to stunning heights for jaw-dropping panoramic views, and maybe even discover a few surprises along the way.
The adventure doesn't stop at sightseeing! We'll experience the unique opportunity to walk behind some waterfalls and take a refreshing dip in several natural pools along the route. It’s the perfect blend of exhilaration and relaxation in the great outdoors.
The day concludes with a delightful fish and chip supper 🐟🍟 at the Old White Horse, allowing you to relax and share stories from the day’s adventure.
The Details:
- Meet up: 8 am at Stratford Park car park (with free parking all day).
- What to Bring: Walking boots, warm layers and waterproofs (essential), swimsuit/towel and your packed lunch.
- Good to Know: Come rain or shine, we’re adventuring! This trek will challenge you and involves walking over rough and broken terrain. Andy might bring his dog, and your furry friends are welcome too!
Price Includes:
- Minibus pickup from Stratford Park and an expected return around 8 pm.
